In an Era of Social Separation

In an era of social separation we find people belonging to different tiers of capability based on their affluence. There are those who can do whatever they can think of and likely are not passionate about much of it as a result. There are those who work and save to have this opportunity maybe once a year and are likely very passionate about their choices based on the objective nature invokes in attaining them. Finally there are those who work and save simply to afford means of dopamine input, be it video games, gambling, eating, drinking, or drugs. Likely only a passionate about their choice as a result of some external pressure or marketing. Unfortunately we see more and more of us falling into this final category. Clinging to some manufactured source of dopamine in order to find some sort of satisfaction in our lives, all the while feeding the machine that has created this wealth gap in the first place.
